Mom & Dad ... ready to go out to a New Years Eve party Dec 31, 1968.
Dad had just finished months of radiation treatments a couple months earlier. A couple weeks after this photo ... he was again admitted to hospital and the docs said the cancer was back and it was terminal. He remained in hospital until he died in June 1969.
What can I say? He was my father and all these decades later I still miss him. |

My grandmother and also a dear friend. She lived from 1892 to 1993 ... dying 1 month after her 101st birthday. A great lady, a great friend ... and I will miss her love & guidance always.

She is a little weird, a wee bit whacky ... but she is a fantastic person and I am blessed that she calls me friend. |
